1. Who we are
outbidception.lol (the "Service") is operated by Tanomedia, Portugal ("we", "us"). Questions, complaints and customer service: hello@tanomedia.com. Full legal identity of the operator (registered name, address, tax number) is published at tanomedia.com/legal and provided on request. By submitting a listing or making a payment you agree to these terms.
2. What you buy
The Service is a digital advertising service: you purchase a featured listing placement on a public, ranked list. A placement consists of your listing (a name, an optional link, an optional handle and a short message) shown on one of our lists ("arenas") at a placement level equal to the total amount you have paid for that listing. Placements are delivered instantly: the moment your payment is confirmed, your listing appears on the arena at the level you paid for.
Although the site playfully uses the language of bidding, no auction takes place. There is no closing time, no winner, no prize, no payout, no entry fee for a chance at anything, and nothing to lose. Every payment buys a placement that is delivered in full immediately; it is not a wager on an outcome.
The ego arena (/b/love) sells a placement of a personal name only, with no link. It is a paid digital title purchased purely for vanity. It delivers no product, no service beyond the listing itself and no traffic. We are, at least, upfront about that.
3. Pricing and payment
- You choose the amount you pay. Each arena has a minimum, shown in the order form before you pay.
- Raising an existing listing charges only the difference between its current level and the new level you choose.
- All prices are in US dollars (USD). Taxes may apply depending on your location and are shown at checkout where applicable.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use the payment method.
4. Ranking mechanics
Listings on an arena are sorted by placement level, highest first. Equal levels are ordered by time: the earlier placement ranks higher. The all-time list ranks the total paid per listing; the monthly list ranks amounts paid in the current calendar month and resets on the first of each month.
Your position is relative. When someone else purchases a higher placement, your listing moves down one row. This is the product working exactly as described, not a defect. Your placement level never decreases and your listing is not removed because of other people's purchases.
5. Content rules and moderation
- The main arena is reserved for pay-to-rank leaderboard websites. Other arenas state their own scope.
- No scams, malware, phishing, impersonation, adult content, harassment, or anything illegal in Portugal or the EU.
- Tracking parameters are stripped from submitted links.
- You must have the right to publish everything you submit. Submitted content is shown publicly.
We may edit, hide or remove a placement that violates these rules, and we may refuse service to anyone, at our discretion. Removals for rule violations are not refunded.
6. No refunds
All payments are final. The placement is delivered completely at the moment it appears on the arena. The limited exceptions (duplicate charges, technical failures) are set out in our Refund & Dispute Policy.
7. No guarantees
The only deliverable is your placement at the paid level at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee any amount of traffic, clicks, attention, or how long your listing will stay at any particular rank. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost reputation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change and the new version applies to purchases made after it. These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable EU law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep all mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence, and you may use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
